Service Description

As a Neighborhood Distribution Volunteer at the Highland Fire Station, you help bring fresh, nutritious food and essential groceries to families and individuals in the local community. Your responsibilities include setting up and organizing distribution tables, unpacking and arranging food items, handing out produce and pantry staples, and welcoming every guest with kindness and respect. You’ll also assist with keeping the distribution area clean and safe, restocking supplies as needed, and packing up at the end of the event. This role is hands-on, team-oriented, and ideal for anyone who enjoys helping others, working with a community-minded group, and making a direct, positive impact. Your friendly attitude, reliability, and willingness to serve ensure that every neighbor who visits feels valued and supported. Together, we help fight hunger and strengthen the Highland Fire community—one Tuesday at a time.
